The Virtual Platform
We’ve created a video and a series of guidelines to show you how to use the ESO-WSO 2020 Virtual Conference platform, including logging in, accessing pre-recorded and live sessions, as well as meeting exhibitors and networking.

Yes, you are automatically registered for the virtual conference.
Further details and guidance on how to navigate the meeting platform will be announced in due course.
The ESO-WSO 2020 virtual conference will offer you a full virtual experience and the opportunity to take part in every aspect of the programme including:
- Open access to all session recordings – create your own schedule to attend any and all of the sessions whenever and wherever you choose.
- Network with colleagues – access colleagues easy over the web and start a fruitful discussion
- Earn CME credits – participate in the scientific programme and be eligible to receive the respective number of CME credits
- Access all e-posters – browse the latest scientific research and connect with the abstract authors
- Give feedback – help us improve ourselves
- Visit the virtual exhibition hall – journey through the exhibition booths, explore the displayed materials, contact exhibitors directly, and chat with other visitors.
The content will be available on-demand after the Conference dates, for all registered participants.
The CME/CPD certificate will be available after completing the online evaluation and credit claiming procedure. You will receive a link by email at the end of the conference. For more information, click here.
ESO-WSO 2020 is doing its best to ensure that the virtual conference will incorporate as much of the usual conference experience and activities as possible. All individuals involved will be contacted and ongoing updates of the programme will be announced in due course.

Yes, there will be a virtual exhibition area.
There is no registration for the exhibition only, all exhibitors and participants may access the full virtual conference and the exhibition.
General questions, cancellations & reimbursement
No. The ESO-WSO 2020 Conference Planning Group has decided to transform the conference into a fully virtual meeting. This will offer our community the possibility for educational exchanges, scientific news, and best practice updates while protecting the safety, health, and well-being of all conference participants.
Yes, the platform will be available between 7 – 9 November 2020, with some live-streamed sessions according to the programme schedule. In addition, the platform and all sessions will be available on-demand following the Conference.
Please check the cancellation policy of your booking.
For your non-refundable accommodation booked by Kenes, the hotels will be contacted to find an optimal solution.
If you have a refundable booking, you will be contacted.
ESO-WSO 2020 did not handle transportation booking services.
